Puppies available from recent litters

I have three very nice pups available. The older female was born Nov. 23, 2011. Autumn is a super cute, curvy, brindle and white ball of fun. She was the only pup in the litter so has had so much special attention, she thinks the world revolves around her!! The other two are from the younger litter born Dec. 20, 2011, a brindle and white girl, Lara and her brother Story who is white with brindle spots. Very sweet and cuddly pups!! I can't believe it has been so long since I have posted! Wow, my most recent litter was born just before Christmas and pups are almost ready to go to new homes. I have several available to pet homes. They are all gorgeous brindles with white trim.

Cute pup available now from current litter

This little cutie is ready to go to a new home. He is a pet/companion quality, AKC whippet from my current litter announced below. I will also have a show quality male available from this litter in the near future. I am just letting the show prospects grow out a bit more before they are off to thier new homes. Puppy progress

Three weeks old now and time to move out of the whelping box, more room to stretch those little legs.... they will be running soon, tho they are only toddling now. Got some pics of them in their bed today. Some sleeping, some playing and some just looking cute.

Puppies have arrived!!

Rowans pups were born on Friday, May 6. There are 5 girls and 1 boy. Here are photos of the babies at 1 week.

Litter expected first week in May

Here is a photo of mom to be, Rowan. She is Appraxin Rowan Wood of Sowagla and has been bred to Sel. CH Fleetwood Return To Sendr, Jake. This is a co-breeding with Calvin G. Perry of Appraxin fame. We are both looking forward to what should be a beautiful and colorful litter. Stay tuned for news of these babies.

Puppy pics as they grow!

I have been very remiss in posting to my blog. So sorry for that. So I will make up for it today by posting lots of photos! Here are the two Oberon x Raven pups now that they are 14 weeks. These two are still at my house, the male Byron will be staying here with me and Sophie will be going to a show home soon. I am very pleased with how they are developing and they are the sweetest pups and really well behaved too. Can you tell I am very high on this litter? Oh, and Byron has his official registered name now..... going with the gothic theme, he is Sowagla Dynia Gothic Romance.

Arrival of a beautiful batch of brindles

Announcing the arrival on Dec. 1 of a new litter of 5 pups, 3 boys and 2 girls. This litter is a co-breeding with Paige Zalnoski of Dynia whippets. Paige and I co-bred the sire CH Dynia Sowagla Oberon. Oberon was one of 4 to finish their championships in that litter. Dam of this litter is Raven, Moonbeam Sowagla N Sportingfld Gothic Girl. Here are pics of both sire and dam as well as Raven and her pups right after the birthing.

Congrats to Jaytea/Chesara on litter

Yesterday Chesara Jaytea Chimney Swift whelped a beautiful litter of 10, 4 girls and 6 boys, in varying colors and markings. Sire is my Sel. CH Fleetwood Return To Sendr. Merlin New Champion

What an exciting weekend at the Mid Atlantic Hound Club shows. My Merlin finished his Championship going WD and BOW for a major. As always Merlin was show by me. He is now CH Sowagla Appraxin Makin' Magic. Just as exciting, my Faith, Sporting Fields What Ever was WB for a major as well. I have been waiting to show Faith and now it looks like she is ready!
To top off the day, a litter I have co-bred with Ute Soles and Calvin Perry was born. 5 girls and 2 boys. Sire is CH Fleetwood Return To Sendr, dam is Appraxin Sowagla Hearts Desire. They are beautiful babies with a variety of markings. Watch here for updates.

New home for Ronin, and litter due soon

Ronin has found a wonderful new home! She will be close by too, with a lovely couple and two other whippets to keep her company.
I'm excited about my upcoming litter due the first week in Feb. Beautiful Faith, Sporting Fields What Ever was bred to Myles, Sel CH Sowagla Quick Silver To Taejaan.
Faith looks like a barrel on legs right now, not exactly a girlish figure. Stay tuned for more updates!
